The following website provides you with further information about the 12th International Symposium of Information Science (ISI2011) from March 9th to 11th, 2011 at the University of Hildesheim. It was held under the overall theme Information and Knowledge: global, social and free? ISI is a  joint conference of the Higher Education Association for Information Science (HI) and the ICT Initiative Science.

We, as members of the Institute of Information Science and Language Technology were glad to have welcomed you in Hildesheim to an exciting program of presentations, debates, and exchange of ideas.
